Re: Christ and Eschatology (1)

As I pondered the biblicality of this proposition, it seemed to me that a whirlwind took me up, flung me down a long, dark tunnel, and deposited me none too gently on the surface of what seemed like a strange planet, with distant mountain peaks and troughs.

And as I stood, and shook the dust from my cloak, it seemed that there were many people there, engaged in theological discussion like to our own. Indeed, some of the discussion was our own, and done in none too respectful a manner either! As I looked, they also looked back at me.

At that moment, the whirlwind came again, and I was once more comfortably reclined in my theological armchair, wherefrom I rose, and made myself a comforting cup of theological tea. Had it been a dream, or a waking vision?

But fellow theologians, it was more than a dream, for I have the link, wherein all may travel to and from this place, and see what I have seen!

Thus may interplanetary theological discourse begin, and peace  spread from one end of the firmament to the other. Harmony will become a cross-galactic reality, and men will exchange their pruning hooks for quill pens. Nation shall speak peace unto nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
