Wisdom, understanding and knowledge

A True Myth

The Prophets and Sages revealed how the Bible describes the functionality of the Mind, and how God designed the world through a particular sequence of conceptual formats. Knowledge (Da’at) is the marriage or union between Wisdom (Chakhmah) and Understanding (Binah).

In Proverbs (Meshalim) 3:19-20 we read “With Chakhmah (Wisdom) Elohim formed the Earth, and with Binah (Understanding) He establised the Heavens, and with Da’at (Knowledge) the depths were broken up and the clouds drop down the dew.”

In Proverbs (Meshalim) 24:3-4 we read “With Chakhmah (Wisdom) a house is built, with Binah (Understanding) it is established, and with Da’at (Knowledge) its rooms are filled.”

Chakhmah:
Wisdom is the endless sea of thought containing no seperation within it, for it is all one. It would be best described as a pure undifferentiated Mind. It is pure thought, which has not yet been broken down into differentiated ideas and concepts.

“With Chakhmah (Wisdom) Elohim formed the Earth,” reveals that God created this world as One, with One Mind was the endless sea of Wisdom poured. In other words, the complete picture in mind was formed as a whole.

“With Chakhmah (Wisdom) a house is built,” reveals that Wisdom represents the entirety of a structure, the completeness and oneness of its creation. The Universe.

Binah: Understanding is the level where ideas and concepts exist seperately, where they can be scrutinized, analyzed and comprehended. It is the level in which everything exists seperately. If Wisdom is the endless sea, Understanding is the endless fish which divide the sea. Another thing to realize is the statement that “Wisdom can only come clothed in Understanding.” This means that because Wisdom is One and is the level before everything is seperated, Wisdom can only be grasped through Understanding. Understanding is like clothing, because it confirms an identity of a particular thing.

“and with Binah (Understanding) He establised the Heavens,” reveals that God created that complete picture with confirmed ideas and concepts, with seperated-dilineated-differentiated parts was the fish of Understanding given life within the endless sea of Wisdom. Before, I mentioned that Understanding is represented by the fish, however obviously fish do not evaporate into the sky… it is the actual water that rises into the sky… thus alluding again to the concept of seperate parts of Wisdom.

“with Binah (Understanding) it is established,” reveals again the word “established,” representing a confirmation of the many parts that make up the house that was built.

Da’at: Knowledge is the interface in which Wisdom and Understanding come together. It is refered to as the vessel that floats upon the endless and catches the fish that swims in the sea. Knowledge is the union or marriage between Wisdom and Understanding.

“and with Da’at (Knowledge) the depths were broken up and the clouds drop down the dew.” reveals that in the infinite and endless sea of Wisdom, the fish of Understanding that swim in in it possess the substance of that which the fish encounters. In turn it is the vessel that catches the fish and stores them in the vessel. In other words, the depths that are broken up represent that stored information in the mind that holds Wisdom clothed with Understanding. Also, the clouds that drop the dew allude to the point made above. Before I mentioned that the fish do not evaporate into the sky, it is the water from the endless sea that rises into the sky… so the dew or rain (water from the sea) that drops down from the sky represent the concept that Understanding Wisdom becomes Knowledge.

So Chakhmah, Binah and Da’at are the foundational levels of the Mind. It is tri-une format that God designed for all creation to draw from. When reading scripture, we can keep these teachings at hand to figure out the deeper meanings.

Re: Wisdom, understanding and knowledge

i appreciate the distinctions made between wisdom, understanding, and knowledge as well as the imagery…from both the bible as well as your own thoughts.

a long time favorite passage of mine is Proverbs 20.5 “The purposes in the human mind are like deep water, but the intelligent will draw them out” (NRSV)

The NIV renders the latter half “…but a man of understanding draws them out”.  I see the Hebrew root for “intelligent” or “understanding” here is the same as in Proverbs 24.3.

i’m curious what your thoughts might be on how this passage may relate to your exposition and what it means for how we are to live this out practically, particularly in the role of spiritual (trans)formation.

Re: Wisdom, understanding and knowledge

My concept is Off the beaten path, Jeremiah

The spirit world and the physical are the same:

What is spirit?

Ex 35:31 And I Have filled Him with the Spirit of God in Wisdom, in Understanding and Knowledge

Now we know, it’s Wisdom,Understanding and knowledge. Thus the creative.

JN 6:63 the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.(Think of a magnet and the force of spirit)

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved the face of the waters.

In replacing the world CHRIST with the spiritual equal =Wisdom-Understanding and Knowledge .You may be surprised to be enlightened the meanings of the following.

Eph. 3:4 When you read you may understand my Knowledge in the mystery of “Christ.”

Col. 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, Circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scyth’i-an, bond nor free: but is Christ ALL , and in ALL. The Cosmic Christ. The Cosmic Christ

Luke.1:80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit,(Wisdom understanding and knowledge)and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel

I Cor. 3:1 I could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as to Carnal, even as unto babes in “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge.”

I Cor. 4:10 We are fools for “Understanding, Wisdom and Knowledge, but you are wise in Christ, we are weak, but you are strong, you are honourable, but we are dispised.”

II Cor. 11:23 Are they ministers of “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge.” I speak as a fool I am more.

II Cor. 12:2 I knew a man in “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge,” (the Spirit) above fourteen years ago. Whether in or out of the body I cannot tell.

Gal 3:24 The Law was our Schoolmaster to bring us unto “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge.”

Gal 4:19 My little children of whom I travail in birth again until “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge,” be formed in you again.

Gal 3:27 For as many of you have been babtized into “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge,” have put on “Christ.”

Eph. 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, aginst the Rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Gal. 5:14 For all the Law is fullfilled in one word, even in this, you should Understand, be wise and Knowledgable about your neighbor as yourself.Luke 10:25-37

Gal 6:2 Bare yourselves one another’s burdens and so fullfill the Law of “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge.”

Eph. 3:4 When you read you may understand my Knowledge in the mystery of “Christ.”

Eph. 3:8 ……The unsearchable riches of “Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge.”

Col. 1:25-27 Where I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, …… Even the mystery which has been hidden from the ages and from the generations, but now is made manifest to his Saints: ……. To who God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations; which is the way, the truth and the life in you, the hope of glory.

=Eastern religions say all is god=

Col. 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, Circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scyth’i-an, bond nor free: but Christ is ALL , and in ALL.

II Cor. 5:16 We don’t know now any man after the flesh(PEOPLES FEATURES,SHAPE SIZE AND COLORS OF THE RAINBOW FOR RACES), Although we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him no more.Doesnt life use geometry?

II Cor. 10:7 Do you look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that He is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he Is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.

Luke 4:18 The wisdom of the Lord is upon me, because he has annointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are bruised.

Col. 2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ

Now we can see the cosmic christ as a whole with you and me in it.Christ is all and in all.

Or another creative saying would be.

MK 2:22 And no man putteth new wine(wisdom) into old bottles(bodies): else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

LK 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine(knowledge) straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

As far as salvation. Its a matter of learning:

PS 119:71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes

PROV 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

Its more than just 10 commandments. As with Paul its universal law, the cosmic christ.

Addiction Romans 1

24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts,

26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:

27………….receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet………

28,………. God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;………

Romans 5

20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound

The New way as many of us see it.

1) We admitted we were powerless over —that our lives had become unmanageable.

2) Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3) Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

4) Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5) Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6) Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7) Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

8) Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9) Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10) Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11) Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12) Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

God as all and how God talks to us

PROV 8:1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

JOB 31:38 If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain

JOB 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Re: Wisdom, understanding and knowledge

The problem with the written wisdom is that it may have many meanings. To many people. So we become drunken.

Proverds 20 :1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.

JER 23:9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

This goes back to the fact we dont always understand what was meant by the writer.

JOB 12:25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.

So to just qoute scripture is not enough. We need to understand it.

PROV 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The bible can brainwash people because ,its a science of mind to be overcome with drunkeness.Or to base that upon that which is not founded (true)

Gen 3.

15And I will put enmity between thee(Scripture) and the(Humanity) woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it (The written word)shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

JER 51:57 And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts

Heres the challenge.

2TIM 3:16 All Religion is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

JOEL 1:5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.

Sorry about my humor if it offends you.I believe in the creative God.But to swallow all religion is hard. And to be narrowminded is crazy.

Re: Wisdom, understanding and knowledge

What was jesus casting out?

Matt 15.19For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

So we see evil thoughts corrupt a man.

Matt 5.28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Here we see thoughts form and corrupt a person and soon it corrupts our actions. Thus we create demons in ourselves or angels and manifest them into the world.Whereby we corrupt others.

Paul casted demons out also:

Col 14:25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you.

Jesus in another creative saying says:

Matt chapter 24

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. In this creative saying he shows how a person having started to give up old ways and returns can be worse off than the previous state.

MK 9:18 And wheresoever tries to help him, he tears him: and he foams, and gnashs with his teeth, and pines away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

This person was really defensive. And he would do anything besides opening up.
