Faithfulness of God

Traditional religion teaches that the opposite of God is the devil. This is not true. In direct opposition to God is man and his pride (free will). Man says that the sin of man (Adam) was strong enough on its own to condemn all of mankind. However the sacrafice of the One sent by God is incomplete without man getting involved.

When Jesus says “ I am the Way “ He was not placing Himself in competition with other gods. He was telling us that He (the fullfillment of God’s plan of salvation) is all that is needed to defeat sin. Man on the other hand says that works or choice by man (depending on your denomination) is needed for salvation to be complete.

For only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts what was begun by God. (Gal 3: 3)

God tells us The created world was bound to fail. But that was not the result of its own choice. It was planned that way by the One who made it. God planned to set the created world free. (Rm 8:19-21)

One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own. (II Cor 5:15)

He wants everyone to be saved. He wants them to come to know the truth. There is only one God. And there is only one go-between for God and human beings. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave himself to pay for the sins of everyone. That was a witness given by God at just the right time. (I Tim 2:4-6) Here is a saying you can trust. You can accept it completely. We work hard for it. Here is the saying. We have put our hope in the living God. He is the Savior of all people. Most of all he is the Savior of those who believe. (I Tim 4:9,10)

He gave his life to pay for our sins. But he not only paid for our sins. He also paid for the sins of the whole world. (I Jn 2:2) The Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. We have seen it. We give witness to it. (I Jn 4:14)

Because of Adam, all people die. So because of Christ, all will be made alive. (I Cor 15:22) The last enemy that will be destroyed is death (I Cor 15:26) When he has done that, the Son also will be under God’s rule. God puts everything under the Son. In that way, God will be all in all. (I Cor 15:28)

So don’t judge anything before the appointed time. Wait until the Lord returns. He will bring to light what is hidden in the dark. He will show the real reasons why people do what they do. At that time each person will receive praise from God (I Cor 4:5)

God Himself has sworn an oath! He swore this even on His own name! God says “Let all the world look to Me for salvation.” Then, to leave no doubt about his ability to achieve what He purposes, to be absolutely clear, He swears by His own name that indeed “every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Christ is Lord.” And, He will not go back on his word.

Can you trust God the Father that your salvation has already been secured through Christ and needs nothing from you. That is the Good News of The Bible
