Tim is driven by the simple concept of JOY — Jesus, Others, You. He believes everyone should selflessly seek to bring others JOY to fulfill our true need and longing: experiencing the love of Christ.

Tim Maurer founded Global Institute For Transformation (GIFT) to help fulfill on our calling to transform the world with the love of Christ. GIFT’s cross-denominational mission is transforming hearts, lives and communities by helping people receive, fan into flame and share the GIFT of God.

GIFT addresses spiritual fervency domestically through a transformation guide and spiritual material that renders key scripture concepts in enjoyable ways. GIFT addresses global poverty and illnesses, demonstrating the Love of Christ through farm irrigation and water filtration. (GIFT’s water filtration has brought people to tears when they first observed the before and after difference in water quality!)

Tim has previously run a refugee ministry and opened a Sudanese refugee orphanage in Zimbabwe. (The fruit from this endeavor is awesome — a young girl was reunited with her family years after both thought the others were deceased!)

Tim has also been an advocate of minority business development as a means of reducing economic disparity and providing opportunity and much needed hope in inner cities.

Tim has presented strategies to the White House National Economic Council documenting the value of franchising, executive succession, collaboration and minority business development.

Tim also created Mediterranean Harvest For Life dietary regime to address the 133 million cases of chronic illnesses domestically and our nation’s healthcare issues. It’s mission is to help people “Enjoy Life More .. Enjoy More Life.” It’s a refinement to the Mediterranean style of eating which can prevent and even help reverse most illnesses, and which extends lifespans. MHFL was described by nutrition scientists as having as much potential to impact our nation’s health as the removal of transfats.

Through GIFT and Mediterranean Harvest For Life, people’s dreams for a JOYful and purposeful life — including their longing to experience true love — can be met.
