A new conversation about Emerging Church is emerging at the BapChat community.
It was initiated by a member who wrote:

which makes it crystal clear that the emergent church movement is first and foremost an attack on the gospel of salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Its primary aim seems to be to destroy the foundations of true Christianity and it doesn’t much mind what takes its place.
We do have a hope that is sure and certain, an inheritance guarded by Jesus Christ until the last day. We do know God’s plan of salvation. The emergent church’s purpose seems to be to sow doubt and challenge what God has said … just like the very first temptation in the Garden of Eden.
Anyone here would be very welcome to join the discussions…

Pilgrim, you should see an edit tab at the top of your post. Comments should have an edit link after the comment unless further comments have been added to your comment. I have tested this and it seems to work, but let me know if you don’t have any success. This site is not really set up as a conventional forum. Too much of the discussion was getting attached to articles that weren’t part of the forum structure, so I decided to simplify things and remove the forum.
