Jason Silverthorne escaped high school with a diploma, and has continued to dabble in life ever since, never educating himself past the college sophomore level. A father of two and husband of one (unless you ask a fundamentalist), he spends his free time searching the Bible for eternal significance and all things baseball.

Currently employed as a manager of an industrial supply distributor, Silverthorne is looking to expand his areas of expertise while he awaits America’s next great depression. In doing so, he is looking forward beginning his denomination’s STEM (Systematic Training for Effective Ministry) program in the fall. This is a five-year program that offers the possibility for licensed ministry upon completion, but is usually used for assisting in the ministry of the local church.

Regarding his denomination, Silverthorne currently attends a Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) house of worship West Michigan. This denomination appeals to him because he believes that Christianity is more basic than most denominational statements of faith. For more information on Disciples’ beliefs, follow this link: http://disciples.org/discover/believe/

Mr. Silverthorne loves theological conversation and welcomes any and all questions you may have.
